A New Day… in God’s Word

We have been reading through the Bible in a Year and it is always an amazing journey! Every day is another reminder of God’s faithfulness to His people, God’s purposes for our lives, and God’s guidance through His Living Word. Several of our members have never read completely through the Bible before. They are excited to accomplish this challenge. We are quickly making our way through Psalms and 1 Corinthians this week and in early September will move into Proverbs and 2 Corinthians. It hardly seems possible, but December will be here before we know it!

THY Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:105

Team: FFBC

Our 4th and final team this summer was First Baptist Fayetteville, GA. This is another amazing and most generous group. The Team started with the Party in the Park on Sunday night, July 28th, where we had at least double the number of children than had come our first week in July. Then they hosted the Summer Clubs in the Park Monday thru Thursday. A construction crew built a small out building in St Regis to house our Clothes Closet and Food Pantry there. This is an incredible gift to our ministry! They invested in our leadership team and also our members in so many special ways. We enjoyed a special dinner for women and cookout for men where we were able to just fellowship together… this was a true blessing. THANK YOU, FBC Fayetteville, we love each of you and are deeply grateful for your support, encouragement and prayers!

Team: L.I.G.H.T.

Not to be outdone, our own teenagers gave a hand with some clean up around the church grounds after all the construction projects. It was a really helpful project and good for our own youth to take part in the spirit of the summer teams! Cheyenne, Tommy, and Kim along with Mr. Q worked hard and got things done quickly before the Bible Study time. We also depend on these young people to set up for Wednesday nights and then re-set our worship center for Sunday every single week and they do it with a cheerful spirit for the most part. Please remember to pray for our youth, the schools and teachers in St Regis, and families throughout this valley.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
John 1:4

Glacier Day

Our Young Adults loaded up with the Damrons for a day trip to Glacier! Of course, we had to stop in Plains for a quick, deluxe breakfast at the Dog Hill Bistro to start the day off right. It was a time of good fellowship, lots of driving, unimaginable singing, and plenty of laughter, not to mention photo taking! Chris & Amy Quinlivan, Derek & Shelly Larson, and Alana piled into the Suburban and we all made a grand day of it!

These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you,  and that your joy may be full.   John 15:11

His Majesty

The beauty, majesty, and handiwork of God absolutely surround us! How can anyone especially who lives in Montana not humble themselves before our Holy God? Unfortunately, there are many throughout our nation who disregard the love and guidance of our heavenly Father. What a tragic reality! Please continue to pray with us for the lost souls in our community, this valley, our state, our nation and the world.

New Friends

It is a real joy to meet new friends! We have had six new families visit services in St Regis since the work of our summer teams. This is a gift from the Lord! Several of these families have preschoolers who came to hear about the love of Jesus, how to share and play with one another, and how to express joy in the house of the Lord! Oh, it’s an incredible, energetic time for one and all.

I was glad when they said unto me, ‘Let us go into the house of the Lord.’  Psalm 122:1
